Starting and stopping the Sametime Video MCU

Start or stop the IBM® Sametime® Video MCU Server with the Linux service command.

Procedure

1. Start the Sametime Video MCU by completing the following steps:
   1. Log on to the server as root.
   2. Run the following command:

      service soft_mcu start

2. Stop the Sametime Video MCU by completing the following steps:
   1. Log on to the server as root.
   2. Run the following command:

      service soft_mcu stop
