Deliver all future mail from the sender of a selected message in the Junk folder to the Inbox.

  1. Click Junk in the navigation pane.
  2. Select a message.
  3. Click Remove Sender from Junk List.
  4. Click OK to confirm.

Spam must be filtered using criteria such as subject lines and message content because spam senders typically change the sender information in their mailings to avoid being blocked. You can use a Quick Rule to filter these types of messages.

Note: You can set up mail rules in either HCL Notes® or in HCL iNotes® and use those rules to filter mail for both. You can also edit, delete, and turn rules off in either mail system.

Retrieving messages from junk mail

Occasionally messages that you want to read or keep are inadvertently filtered as junk mail. The Junk folder lets you view messages labeled junk and retrieve those that you want to keep. The Junk folder also provides tools for blocking and unblocking addresses.

Note: Messages in the Junk folder are not automatically deleted. You must delete these messages manually.
