What's new in CF209? | HCL Digital Experience

Combined Cumulative Fix (CF209) includes new features and software fixes for the latest version of HCL Digital Experience. Release updates for both on-premises platforms and container deployments are available. 

The HCL Digital Experience CF209 release includes the following new features and updates:
  • Ability to change the default Page Template
  • Login portlet Anonymous sign-up feature disabled by default
  • Notice of deprecation of Textbox.io

Ability to change the default Page Template

Guidance is added for Page Template authors and designers to change the default Page Template. See the topic Page templates for more information.

Login portlet Anonymous sign-up feature disabled by default

Starting with CF209, the anonymous sign-up feature is disabled by default for anonymous users. Administrators can choose to enable this feature using supplied tasks or configuration steps. See the Help Center topic Registration/Edit My Profile and Login portlets for more information.

Notice of deprecation of Textbox.io

The Textbox.io component in the HCL Digital Experience software is being deprecated effective January 31, 2023 and will End of Support (EOS) on January 31, 2024. See the Deprecated features for more information.
