VOB and view tags
In addition to its object, every VOB or view must have a tag in the registry before it can be accessed by most DevOps Code ClearCase® applications.

In addition to its object, every VOB or view must have a tag in the registry before it can be accessed by most DevOps Code ClearCase® applications.

VOB tags and view tags serve similar purposes and control access to VOBs and views in similar ways. A VOB or view can have at most one object in a given registry, but can have zero or more tags.
