Tagging other people
You can tag people using the Tags field on their profile page. Add tags that describe the person’s skills or expertise.
About this task
If your system administrator has enabled tagging, you can tag yourself and others. People can check who has tagged them by clicking the number next to a specific tag to display a list of the people who added that tag to their profile. Tags cannot be hidden or private.
You can remove tags that you added to another person's profile. You can also remove any tags added to your profile by other people.
Procedure
To tag a person's profile, complete the following
steps.
- Open the profile page for the person that you want to tag.
- Type the tag name in the Tags field. Type-ahead predicts the tag that you're typing and supplies available tag names. Select an available tag or continue typing to create a new tag.
- Click the + icon to add the tag to the person's profile.
- Enter additional tags as needed.
