You can also schedule tasks, maintain application databases, moderate content, or manage users and their roles.
Disabling widgetsYou can disable widgets from displaying on the Home page or elsewhere in IBM® Connections when you no longer want them to be available to your users.
Editing widgetsEdit a widget to change its name, description, or deployment descriptor.
Removing widgetsIf a third-party widget is no longer used or needed, you can remove it from the widget catalog. You cannot remove IBM® Connections widgets from the catalog, you can only disable them.
Administering LibrariesA Library provides the services of an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system to Communities. To enable the use of Libraries, you must make some configuration changes to Connections and to each ECM system that you plan to use.

With single sign-on enabled, users do not need to log in to IBM® Connections and the ECM server separately; logging in to IBM® Connections also give them access to the ECM server.

Single sign-on between IBM FileNet Collaboration Services and IBM Connections is mandatory for use of the Library widget.

Single sign-on between IBM FileNet Collaboration Services and IBM Connections is not mandatory for use of the Linked Library widget, but is supported and always preferable for a better user experience.

Procedure

To configure SSO between IBM Content Manager and IBM Connections, perform the following steps:

Configure the IBM Content Manager Enterprise Edition library server for SSO.
Configure IBM FileNet Collaboration Services for SSO.
Configure IBM Connections for SSO.
