Deleting shipping modes

  • Before you delete a shipping mode that is listed in the Shipping notebook, ensure that the shipping mode is not referenced in the contract and policy assets for the store. Removing the shipping mode with the notebook makes the contract invalid. To view the details of the contract, see Viewing contract summaries.

    If the contract is active and you want to remove the shipping mode, you must create a new version of the contract before you make your changes. For more information, see Creating a new version of a contract. You can then make your change in the Shipping notebook.


  1. Open HCL Commerce Accelerator
  2. Click Store > Change Shipping. The Shipping Overview page is displayed.
  3. Click Shipping modes. The Shipping modes page is displayed.
  4. Select the shipping mode that you want to delete from the list. Click Delete. The shipping mode is deleted from the list. Deleting the shipping mode does not cause the order items to be deleted automatically by cascading.
