Extended Sites - extended sites hub organization structure

The Extended Sites - extended sites hub organization structure consists of the Extended sites hub, asset store, and Extended sites seller organization.

In these diagrams, describing a basic extended sites organization structure, the root organization owns and subscribes to the default policy groups as described in Access control policies and policy group structure.

This diagram shows how an extended sites hub subscribes to policy groups. For more information, see the description that follows.

This is the legend for the above diagram.

The extended sites hub subscribes directly to the management and administration policy group, the B2B policy group, and owns and subscribes to the channel store policy group. As a result, these policies apply to the channel administrators, who are directly under the extended sites hub organization, as well as to the channel store (extended sites hub).

The extended sites hub policy group contains the following policies:

  • AllUsersExecuteChannelStoreAllUsersViews
  • ContractAdministratorsForChannelOrgExecuteCreateCommandsOnMemberResource
  • ContractAdministratorsForChannelOrgExecuteContractDeployCommandsOnContractResource
  • ContractAdministratorsForChannelOrgDisplayContractDatabeanResourceGroup

Asset store


This diagram shows how an asset store organization subscribes to policy groups. For more information, see the description that follows.

This is the legend for the above diagram.

The asset store organization does not subscribe directly to any policy groups. As a result it inherits the management and administration policy group from the root organization. These policies apply to the asset store organization and the asset stores that it owns. The asset store organization owns the extended site storefront asset store policy group, but does not subscribe to it.

Extended sites seller organization

Note: The individual extended site seller organizations will subscribe to the extended site storefront asset store policy group when the store is created.

This diagram shows how a reseller organization subscribes to policy groups. For more informant, see the description that follows.

This is the legend for the above diagram.

The Extended sites seller organization does not subscribe directly to any policy groups. As a result it inherits the management and administration policy group from the root organization. These policies apply to the extended sites seller organization and the seller A organizations that it owns, as well as to the seller A administrators.

The Seller A-Store A organization subscribes directly to the management and administration, the common shopping, B2B and B2C policy groups, as well as to the storefront asset store policy group. These policies apply to all stores owned by the Seller A-Store A organization.
