You can migrate WebSphere Commerce Search from an earlier version to a later version, according to your site requirements.

When you migrate, WebSphere Commerce Search updates the existing WebSphere Commerce Search cores and configuration files to the latest version of WebSphere Commerce Search. Your existing customizations are also considered during the migration steps to ensure that your latest version also contains your earlier changes to WebSphere Commerce Search behavior.
