You can install a maintenance package by using a silent method, which uses a response
file; no graphical interface is required. The silent installation method can be used to automate the
installation.

Complete the following section to silently install the WebSphere Commerce
maintenance package. If you created a WebSphere Commerce instance, you must apply the
maintenance package to the WebSphere Commerce product first. After the maintenance package is
applied to the product, you must update the database, and then apply it to your instances.
