WebSphere Commerce integration with WebSphere Portal
WebSphere Commerce provides integration code and support for WebSphere Portal Server. This integration allows to you aggregate WebSphere Commerce services and other content in a portal interaction environment.
WebSphere Portal integration prerequisites
To enable WebSphere Portal with WebSphere Commerce, you must meet the prerequisites listed on the following pages:

When enabling WebSphere Portal security you must update your WebSphere Portal LDAP settings.

Important: Ensure that the root organization in WebSphere Commerce matches the root organization in LDAP, and also matches the VMM base DN in WebSphere Portal.

Procedure

Ensure that the WebSphere Portal server environment is stopped.
Open the Configuration Wizard.
Enable LDAP security:
1. Select Configuring security and click Next.
2. Select Configuring Federated Repository and click Next.
3. Select Add Federated LDAP Repository and click Next.
4. Complete the wizard using your LDAP server settings.
5. On the Summary page, click Next.
6. When the configuration is complete, review the logs, and click Finish. The location of the log file is displayed on the page, the default location is wp_profile/ConfigEngine/log/configwizard.log.
