Configuring message types

You can set up the frequency and format of the messages that are sent from the store. You can configure the following messages: Message for notifying the merchant of an order E-mail; Message for daily new orders summary report E-mail; Message for monthly store front usage report E-mail; Message for store commerce reports.

Procedure

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Open the Message Types Configuration page:
    • WebSphere Commerce EnterpriseWebSphere Commerce ProfessionalClick Store > Message Type Configuration.
    • WebSphere Commerce EnterpriseClick Hub > Message Type Configuration.
  3. Select an option; then click Configure.
    • Message for notifying the merchant of an order
    • Message for daily new orders summary report
    • Message for monthly store front usage report
    • Message for store commerce reports
  4. Complete the fields on the Configuration Parameters page. Ensure that you change the e-mail address in the Recipient field to match the e-mail address set for the administrator.
