Viewing the storefront price for a product

The storefront price for a product is the price that a customer at a hosted reseller store sees for the product. This price takes into account any changes the reseller may have made to the price using the Product Management tools in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator or any percentage price adjustments applied using the Catalog Filter.

Procedure

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Open the Catalog Filter page:
    • Consumer direct (B2C)Click Merchandise > Catalog Filter
    • B2B directClick Products > Catalog Filter
If this is the first time you are accessing the Catalog Filter, there may be a delay before the catalog tree displays on the page. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Navigate to the product for which you want to see the storefront price.
  4. Click the product; then click Calculate Price from the pop-up menu. The storefront price displays in a dialog box.
  5. Click OK to close the dialog.

Results

The storefront price might not be accurate if you applied a percentage adjustment to a category immediately before viewing the storefront price. To ensure you are viewing accurate storefront prices, always save any changes made to the Catalog Filter before viewing storefront prices.
