Installing WebSphere Commerce 32-bit on a single machine using the quick installation

A quick installation is a basic installation of WebSphere Commerce 32-bit on a single machine. Quick installation for WebSphere Commerce 64-bit is unsupported.

Perform a quick installation in the following situations:
  • You want to install WebSphere Commerce on a single machine.
  • You have a "clean machine" to install. A quick installation requires a "clean machine" — none of the software installed by a WebSphere Commerce quick installation can exist on the system before performing a quick installation.
  • You want to install WebSphere Commerce and its software stack on one machine that has none of the following software installed.
During a quick installation, the following software is installed:
  • One of the following editions of DB2 Database:
    • WebSphere Commerce - ExpressDB2 Express Edition Version 9.5.0.4, or higher version 9.5 fix pack
