Taking your first steps after installing WebSphere Commerce
After installing WebSphere Commerce, you can install additional software, or you can perform advanced configuration.
Procedure
- Install and configure the additional software that is provided with WebSphere Commerce.
- Perform advanced configuration tasks. Advanced configurations for WebSphere Commerce include federation, clustering, removing a node, and adding cluster members.
- Set up IBM Health Center to collect data for performance analysis and tuning.
- If you plan to use managed assets, use a separate process to propagate files to your staging and production servers. For more information, see Managed asset deployment.
- Review the Hardening site security checklist. WebSphere Commerce was designed with security in mind. However, like any software product, it must be properly configured, used, and maintained to remain secure.
