About the UCM cyclic workflow for multiple-stream projects

In multiple-stream project development, your work as a software or information developer follows a cyclic flow.

The workflow for a developer role begins with Set up work areas. The workflow then goes in a cycle that begins with Find and set activities and moves to Work on activities, Deliver activities, Rebase your work area and returns to Find and set activities, where the cycle can begin again.

To access your project source files, you set up work areas. As you modify source files, you use activities to organize, identify, and deliver your work.

You rebase your work area regularly to take advantage of changes that other members in the project make. You can repeat the steps in this cycle as many times as your project work demands.
