To define a checkpoint

Procedure

  1. Apply a label to the versions that constitute the source configuration that you want the checkpoint to represent.
  2. In View Profile Explorer, navigate to and right-click the view profile to which you want to add a checkpoint. Then click Define New Checkpoint.
  3. In the View Profile dialog box, on the Checkpoints tab, click Add.
  4. In the Add a Profile Checkpoint dialog box, enter the label that identifies the set of versions for the checkpoint.
  5. Click Add. Click Up and Down to indicate the checkpoint sequential order. Users who start private branches must choose a checkpoint from this list.
  6. Click OK.
