To add a component to a project (Linux and the UNIX system)

About this task

To add the baseline of a component to a stream, use the following procedure.

In the Project Explorer, navigate to the project and select the stream to which you want to add the baseline.
Click File > Properties to display the stream Properties window.
Click the Configuration tab, and then click Add. The Add Baselines window opens.
Select a component from the Components list.
To select a baseline from a different stream, click the arrow at the end of the From Stream field and navigate to the stream.
Select a baseline from the list and click OK to add it to the baseline selection list.
Click OK to close the stream Properties window.
The Rebase Stream Preview window opens. The stream needs to be rebased to modify the stream configuration and include the new foundation baseline.
Click OK in the Rebase Stream Preview window.
After you verify that any undelivered work tests successfully with the versions in the new baseline, click Complete to finish the rebase operation.
