Defining default content

In zones that contain multiple content, Deliver evaluates content in the zone from left to right. When it finds a rule that is true, it stops evaluating the remaining personalization rules in the zone. The element that appears furthest to the right in the Personalized content window for the zone is last content element to be evaluated.

You can define default content for a zone by ensuring that the content element furthest to the right is never assigned a personalization rule. Because Deliver always sees an empty rule as true, the last content element always displays, even if the conditionalized content does not.
