Installing using a customized JVM on Windows operating systems

You might want to use a customized Java virtual machine (JVM) during the installation. For example, if your custom JVM has been enabled to work with a screen reader, such as JAWS for Windows. Make sure that you use Java 1.8 or later.

  1. Locate the HCL Traveler installation application.
  2. From a command prompt, change the directory to the location of the installation application.
  3. Launch the installation application using the LAX_VM option to specify which JVM to use:

    installername.exe LAX_VM fully-qualified java.exe path

    For example, TravelerSetup.exe LAX_VM C:\Program Files\hcl\domino\jvm\bin\java.exe
