Importing a copy of the Connections Files server SSL certificate to the Meeting Server

The IBM® Connections Files server uses secure socket layer (SSL) certificates for authentication. To allow the Sametime® Meeting Server to access files on the Connections server, the Connections server SSL certificate must be added to the Meeting server.

Procedure

  1. On the physical Sametime Meeting Server, log in to the Integrated Solutions Console for the Meeting Server as the WebSphere® administrator. If you are in a clustered environment, log in to the deployment manager.
  2. Click SecuritySSL certificate and key management, and then click Key stores and certificates.
  3. In the Name column, click CellDefaultTrustStore.
  4. In the Additional Properties section, click Signer certificates.
  5. Click Retrieve from port.
  6. Provide the SSL Host name and Port of the Connections server, and the Alias (the file name) of the certificate you just extracted.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Save the changes to the master configuration by clicking Save in the "Messages" box at the beginning of the page.
  9. Restart the Meeting Server for the changes to take effect.
