Configuring Files integration on the Meeting Server

To enable the IBM Sametime® Meeting Server to use Files integration, add the IBM® Connections Files server address to the Meeting server.

Procedure

  1. On the Sametime System Console, log in to the WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
  2. Click Sametime System Console > Sametime Servers > Sametime Meeting Servers.
  3. Click the name of the Sametime Meeting Server that will access the Connections Files server.
  4. On the Server Configuration page, click Edit or New as appropriate and add or complete the configuration keys listed in Table 1.

    In the Files server host name that you specify in each configuration key, include the port that users normally use to access the Connections Files server. For example, if you deployed a proxy server or a load balancer in front of a cluster of Files servers, specify port 80 or 443.

    Files_server_host_name.domain is the fully qualified host name of the server where the Connections Files application is installed.

    Files_server_host_name.domain is the fully qualified host name of the server where the Connections Files application is installed.

    This is a secure connection; use https as the protocol and provide the SSL port.

    Files_server_host_name.domain is the fully qualified host name of the server where the Connections Files application is installed.

    repository.ldapACLAttribute The default value is uniqueId. Verify that you are using the appropriate value for your LDAP server. For example, Microsoft™ Active Directory, uses objectGUID for this setting.
    repository.urlSSLAddress

    Secure (SSL) URL of the file repository server, used to build URLs in the client for file repository integration in meeting rooms.

    profile.urlSSLAddress https://Connections_Profiles_server_host_name:port

    Used by mobile Connections clients. This is a secure connection; use https as the protocol and provide the SSL port.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Save your changes to the master configuration by clicking the Save link in the "Messages" box at the beginning of the page.
