Accessibility features for HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook

Accessibility features assist users who have a disability, such as restricted mobility or limited vision, to use information technology content successfully.

Overview

HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook includes the following major accessibility features:
  • Keyboard-only operation
  • Operations that use a screen reader
  • Support for high contrast mode.
  • The attachment of alternative output devices
Note: To use high contrast mode during installation, install silently from the command line. For more information, see Installing silently.
Note: There is a current Jaws known issue that can make it difficult to navigate the login window. Use a different screen reader for better navigation of that window.

HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook uses the latest W3C Standard, WAI-ARIA 1.0, to ensure compliance with US Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. To take advantage of accessibility features, use the latest release of your screen reader and the latest web browser that is supported by HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook.

Keyboard navigation

HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook uses the following unique keyboard shortcuts.
