Before you upgrade an environment that uses the ClearQuest® OSLC REST API to communicate between ClearCase® UCM and ClearQuest, review the important information about upgrade procedures and requirements.

You can upgrade the ClearQuest Web Server without requiring all of the ClearCase LAN clients (cleartool, Project Explorer, DevOps ClearCase Explorer, for example) to be upgraded.
If the ClearQuest Web Server and ClearCase Remote Client CM Server are deployed on the same system, both components must be upgraded at the same time.
