You can move a topic to a different forum if the target forum is a more appropriate venue for the topic. When you move a topic to another forum, any responses to the topic are also moved to the new forum.

Before you begin

To move a topic in a stand-alone forum, you must be the forum owner. You must also own the forum to which you are moving the topic.

To move a topic in a community forum, you must be a community owner. The target forum must belong to the same community.

Procedure

To move a forum topic, complete the following steps:

Open the forum topic that you want to move and click Move.
Select the forum that you want to move the topic to and then click Move.

Results

The breadcrumb trail is updated to display the target forum.
