EmailPlusConfig record type

There must be exactly one EmailPlusConfig record. It controls the operation of the package and records some configuration parameters.

EmailPlus Active check box

The generation of email notifications is controlled globally by the EmailPlus Active check box. When the check box is cleared, no email notifications are generated. You might want to clear this check box before performing a maintenance activity on the database so that email notifications are not generated during maintenance.

CQ Email Admin field

If there are problems sending email, EmailPlus generates a notification of the fault and sends it to the HCL Compass user identified in the CQ Email Admin field. The user who is identified in CQ Email Admin field must have the email address defined in the user database. If this field is blank, no notifications are sent about email sending failures. The level of detail that the notifications include depends upon the transport mechanism that is used and what the mechanism reports, if anything.

Site Configurations field

The Site Configurations field is a list of references to EmailPlusSiteConfig records that define the information for each site in the HCL Compass installation. When a site configuration record is removed, it is also deleted. Orphaned EmailPlusSiteConfig records are not allowed.

RebuildEMPActions record action

The RebuildEMPActions record action automatically rebuilds the EmailPlusAction records using any new algorithms used internally in the EmailPlus package to build EmailPlusRule expressions. The EmailPlusConfig record type has the RebuildEMPActions record action that administrators can use to assist with migrating from earlier versions of the EmailPlus package.
