Import Wizard

Import wizard can be used to set user's authentication mode.

The Import Wizard, which you can use to create or update user profile records based on information that you specify in a text file, lets you set a user's authentication mode. If you change a user's password in the text file, the Import Wizard processes the change as follows:

If the user's authentication mode is LDAP, the Import Wizard ignores the new password.
If the user's authentication mode is HCL Compass, the Import Wizard updates the user profile record with the new password.

If the text file changes a user's authentication mode from LDAP to HCL Compass, be sure that it also changes the user's password. If you do not change the password the user cannot log in to HCL Compass and you must reset the user's password.
