Launching and exploring HCL Commerce Version 9.1 within the HCL Software Factory sandbox

You can explore the full feature set of your HCL Commerce deployment within your SoFy sandbox.

You can find all of the following access URLs for HCL Commerce from within the Solution Console. Depends on whether your solution is deployed in the SoFy Sandbox or in your own Kubernetes cluster, the default domain will be different.

In the SoFy sandbox deployment, only the authoring instance and the mandatory shared components are deployed.

Procedure

  • Access your HCL Commerce deployment dashboard within the SoFy Solution Console for your active sandbox deployment.

    To access your active sandbox deployments, click the Solutions tab on HCL Software Factory. Active sandboxes, and a link to each Solution Console are displayed in the rightmost column.

    From here you can gain access to all API services, as well as the user interfaces for both the HCL Commerce business, administration and support tools, and the administration and support tools for HCL Commerce Search with Elasticsearch.

    Note the URL for access to each of your deployment tools:

    Where:
    • sandbox-id is the Sandbox ID. This is displayed in the URL for your Solution Console.
    • sofy-domain is the trailing SoFy domain name.
  • Access Management Center for HCL Commerce for your deployment.

    The default administrator login is as follows.

    • Username: wcsadmin

    • Password: wcs1admin

    Note: Management Center for HCL Commerce opens in a pop-up window which might be blocked by your browser. Ensure that pop-ups are allowed for the site in order to access the application.
  • Access the React-based Emerald (B2C) reference store.

  • Access the React-based Sapphire (B2B) reference store.
