Able to support hundreds of thousands of transactions per day, HCL Commerce allows you to do business with consumers (B2C) or directly with businesses (B2B). About this task

Working outside the workspace means that any changes you make are considered to be approved, and are automatically made to the production-ready database. This setting means that changes made in this manner must be carefully considered and implemented, as any mistakes are visible by customers, and can potentially have significant business impact.

The production-ready database is an intermediate staging database that is essentially the same as the production database. Any data in the production-ready database moves to the production database by using the stagingprop utility utility.

Procedure

Open the Workspace Management tool..
When you are in the Workspace Management tool, all other Management Center tools are in read-only mode until a task is selected and changed to the Work in progress state, or until you select Work On Approved Content.
From the File menu, select File > Work On Approved Content, or on the toolbar, click .
The Management Center tools are now available for use.
Go to the Management Center menu and select a tool to start working in.
