Configuration Manager

To configure a WebSphere Commerce instance, use the Configuration Manager. The Configuration Manager interface shows mandatory fields and provides help.

You use Configuration Manager to enable and configure various components of WebSphere Commerce. Whenever possible, components should be enabled through the Configuration Manager rather than by modifying the WebSphere Commerce configuration file.

Important: If WebSphere Commerce remote management utilities are installed on a separate node from the WebSphere Commerce Server, both must have the same version of WebSphere Commerce installed. Otherwise, you cannot use the Configuration Manager client.

WebSphere Commerce DeveloperConfiguration Manager is not available in the WebSphere Commerce development environment.
