Workspaces roles
The following workspaces roles are supported by WebSphere Commerce: Workspace Manager, Workspace Task Group Approver and Workspace Content Contributor.
The following table describes each role and the business model each role can work within.

| Workspace Manager | The Workspace Manager is responsible for and has authority
over the entire workspace. This role performs the following tasks:
The Site Administrator also has all the authorities of this role |

| Workspace Task Group Approver | The Task Group Approver is responsible for approving the content created by the content contributors for the task group. For example, if the task group involves preparing the text and images for a new product, the product manager can be the Task Group Approver |

| Workspace Content Contributor | The Workspace Content Contributor is responsible for completing tasks assigned by the
workspace manager. The following roles also have the authorities of the Workspace Content Contributor:
Note: The Deprecated featureDemand chain, Deprecated featureSupply chain and Extended sites business models do not provide the
Product Manager role. For these business models use the Category Manager role instead. |
