Installing IBM Sales Center maintenance from an update site

You can update the Sales Center client from within the Sales Center.


  1. Choose and obtain the maintenance update that you want to apply.
    The process and steps to install interim fixes and fix packs are the same. If you are installing an interim fix, you likely have obtained the fix from IBM Support. Available fix packs for WebSphere Commerce V7 Sales Center are listed on the swg27007361 page.
  2. Extract the Interim Fix or Fix Pack to a location accessible to Lotus Expeditor 6.2.
    This location is referred to it as sc_update_path in the subsequent steps.
  3. Open IBM Lotus Expeditor 6.2 in Administration mode.
  4. Select File > Application > Install
  5. Select Search for new features to install and click Next.
  6. Click on Add Folder Location and browse to the sc_update_path folder and click OK.
  7. In the Name field, provide a value (for example, SC_update) and click OK.
  8. Make sure all of the update sites you added are selected and click Finish.
  9. On the Search Results panel, select everything under the IBM Sales Center for WebSphere Commerce. Click Next.
  10. Read and accept the license agreement and click Next.
  11. Review the summary and click Finish to start installing. Wait for the Provisioning Operation to finish.
  12. Once the provisioning is finished, click Restart Now to restart Lotus Expeditor.
