The information contained in this section applies to IBM WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.9 and Feautre Pack 8. The documentation also applies to all subsequent releases and modifications until otherwise indicated in new editions.
Samples
Starter stores
A fully functional sample online store, provided in store archive format with WebSphere Commerce. Starter stores are samples designed to be used as a base from which a customized online store can be created. Starter stores are translated into several languages and support multiple Web browsers and platforms. Starter stores are fully accessible, with the exception of the Madisons mobile starter store. Accessibility guidelines for mobile devices are not well defined or well established.
Mobile starter stores
WebSphere Commerce provides optimized starter stores for mobile devices such as smart phones containing Web browsers. Mobile starter stores demonstrate best practices in mobile store development with WebSphere Commerce, and can act as a base for implementing mobile storefronts.
Smart phone and tablet starter stores
Smart phone and tablet starter stores provide rich storefronts for several mobile devices and platforms. They can be viewed on mobile devices using the mobile web, or deployed as native or hybrid applications.
Mobile Web starter stores
Mobile Web starter stores are accessed using a smart phone or tablet device's Web browser. They provide a feature-rich, multiplatform deployment option that is supported on a large number of mobile devices that use WebKit mobile Web browsers. Advantages of using mobile Web starter stores include easy storefront updates, consistent user experiences across devices, built-in Web browser support, all without requiring deployment approval processes.
Checkout flows
The checkout flows include the store pages that are commonly viewed to purchase products in the storefront. They include checkout flows for both buying online and picking up in-store, and buying online and shipping to an address.
Shopping cart
The shopping cart page displays the items which have been added to the customer's shopping cart.

Mobile Web starter stores shopping cart page

The shopping cart page displays the items which have been added to the customer's shopping cart.If there are no items in the shopping cart, a message is displayed indicating that the shopping cart is empty. For smart phones, if there are a large number of items in the shopping cart, the shopping cart can be separated into multiple pages. That is, paging controls are enabled to support large shopping carts on smart phones with limited screen space. Details included in the shopping cart are the product names, SKU, availability, prices, and quantities. Customers can change the quantity, remove an item, or move an item to the wish list directly from the shopping cart page.

The shopping cart page contains the following page elements:

JSP files

OrderItemDisplay.jsp represents the smart phone page.
ShoppingCart.jsp represents the tablet page.

Buttons

When a coupon is tapped, DiscountDetailsDisplay is called and displays the coupon details.
When Remove is tapped, OrderChangeServiceItemDelete is called
When Move to Shopping List is tapped, OrderChangeServiceItemDelete and InterestItemAdd are called.
When Update Order Total is tapped, OrderChangeServiceItemUpdate and PromotionCodeManage are called.
When Proceed to Checkout is tapped,CheckoutLogon is called.
