Procedure

Back up your customized code, including published stores, into a source control repository. For example, Rational Application Developer comes with support for CVS and Rational ClearCase. See your Rational Application Developer documentation for details on backing up source code.
Back up the current WebSphere Commerce development environment database. See your database documentation for information on how to perform a backup.
