Preparing
for a custom installation
A custom installation will proceed more smoothly if you have prepared for it by determining your site topology, software stack, and have performed the necessary system preparation.
Before you begin
To prepare for a custom installation, you should know the
following information:
- The topology you want to use for this installation of WebSphere Commerce.
The software stack components
— application server, database server, and web server — you want to
use with WebSphere Commerce.
