Configuring a transport method for a store

Transport methods are configured in the Administration Console.


  1. Open the Administration Console and select Store on the Administration Console Site/Store Selection page.
  2. Click Configuration > Transports. The Transport Configuration page displays.
  3. Select the check box beside the transport you want to configure.
    E-mail E-mail sender
    File File Writer
    Sample adapter Sample adapter
    SMS HTTP SMS HTTP adapter
    SMS Web Services SMS Web Services adapter
    Web Services (JMS) Web Services over JMS
    Web Services (HTTP) Web Services over HTTP
    WebSphere MQ WebSphere MQ
  4. Click Configure. The Transport Configuration Parameters page opens. The name of the transport you selected displays at the top-left of the parameter table. If the desired transport is not listed, click Add and select it from the list.
  5. Provide the information for the transport in the appropriate fields.
  6. Click OK to accept the changes. Changes made to the default configuration of this transport by the Site Administrator will no longer affect this store.
