Custom Messages Tab

There are two types of custom messages:

  • Message of the Day - This is an informative message used to notify the agent of any important information and is displayed on the agent chat dashboard.
  • Canned Message - This is a predetermined text message; they are written in advance and can be deployed with a single click on the agent chat dashboard.

  1. To configure a custom message, the admin selects the Type of Messages from the drop-down list, available under the Custom Message tab on the Agent Assist page:

  1. Admins have the following actions to perform:
  • Create
  • Edit
  • Delete
