Application Setting
Procedure
Administrators are authorized to enable the Remember Me and ZAO
application Debuggingoptions when requested by HCL Software ZAAO
support personnel
By default, both Remember Me and Debugging will be set to No.
Figure 1. Application Default Setting
If, Enable Remember Me option is set to Yes.
The Remember Me checkbox will appear on the Users screen
during login.
Users can check or uncheck the Remember Me option, based on
their preference during login.
If Remember Me was checked, the login details are saved for
a month. Otherwise the token will expire when the user closes their
browser session.
If the "Auto Session" option is enabled, then the user’s session
token will expire based on the timeout value provided by the
administrator. Figure 2. Enable 'Remember Me' option
Enable Debugging mode should only be activated on direction from HCL Software
ZAO support staff. Significant processing performance degradation and
logging overhead may occur when this option is enabled. When Enable
Debugging option is set to Yes
Debugger functionality and data collection is enabled for all
processing
Debugging icon appears at the top right corner of the page.
All users processing is performed in debug mode until this option is
deactivated.
This option is not recommended for normal use. It should only be
enabled under direction from your HCL Software support engineer to
assist with the gathering of ZAO debugging information.Figure 3. Enable Debugging
Auto session timeout
About this task
If, Enable auto session option is set to Yes, you need to provide a
‘Timeout” value in minutes. Then, any user’s web-session with the ZAO
application remains available during times of inactivity until the timeout value
has elapsed. At this point, the user needs to login again using their
credentials. Figure 4. Auto Session Timeout
If auto session option is set to No, then no automatic session timeout
will occur.
