Using SLIP,COMP=0C4 with Z Abend Investigator

Like many other products, Z Abend Investigator employs ESTAE processing to protect and recover from S0C4 abends, where these can be expected to occur during normal processing. If a SLIP trap is set to capture S0C4 abends on your system, then it is likely that unwanted matches occur as a result of these. To prevent such unwanted matches, qualify the SLIP trap by using other parameters, such as DATA and PVTMOD, or add an extra SLIP trap as follows:


SLIP SET,ID=xxxx,COMP=0C4,ACTION=IGNORE,location=HFZDA,END

where location is LPAMOD if the HFZDA load module is placed in LPA, otherwise PVTMOD.
