Changing the size of the component tree display

The Zoom slider adjusts the size of the component tree display.

About this task

A horizontal rectangle contains eleven equally spaced markers and a sliding indicator that points to a marker. The indicator slides to the left or right when you click on that side of the indicator; click the slider, hold it, and move it in that direction; or click in the control and move the mouse wheel.

Procedure

Do one of the following actions:
  • Click to the left of the slider on the Zoom indicator to make the display smaller.

The slider moves two markers to the left and the display shrinks.

  • Click to the right of the slider on the Zoom indicator to make the display larger.

The slider moves two markers to the right and the display expands.

  • If the mouse has a wheel that is activated, click in the Zoom control.

The control is selected. Move the mouse wheel to increase and decrease the magnification in the display. Click outside the control to stop changing the display with the wheel.

  • Click and hold the slider on the Zoom indicator.
    • Move the slider to the right to make the display larger.
    • Move the slider to the left to make the display smaller.

The display changes as you move the slider. Release the mouse button when the size of the display is optimum.
