Prerequisites for the Contact Optimization utility

There are some requirements to complete before using the Contact Optimization utility.

Before you begin

• The Campaign web application and Marketing Platform must be running.
• The Contact Optimization server must have access to the HTTP(S) port of the Campaign web application.
• Java™ must be installed on the Contact Optimization server.
• The OPTIMIZE_HOME environment variable must be defined on the Contact Optimization server and point to your Contact Optimization installation directory.
• The JAVA_HOME environment variable must be defined on the Contact Optimization server and point to where Java is installed.
