Click-to-conference using a third-party audio bridge
When you already own an audio bridge for dial-up conference calls, you can use that bridge for integrated Sametime® audio conferencing.
Components required:
- Sametime Media Manager
- Sametime Conference Manager
- Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar (optional, required to use the Sametime client with a SIP-capable bridge)
- TCSPI adapter from bridge vendor
The following graphic shows how you can deploy the Media Manager, along with a TCSPI adapter that you get from the bridge vendor. This allows you to control your audio conferencing experience from your Sametime client. You can join calls, dial out, display dial-in numbers and pass codes, monitor participants, and so on. If the bridge supports SIP, you'll be able to connect using your Sametime client.
