Removing Sametime functionality

Before you can install an IBM® SIP Edge Proxy server, you must remove the Sametime® functionality from the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar.

Procedure

  1. In the WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console, log in as the WebSphere administrator to the deployment manager that manages the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Applications > Application Types > WebSphere Enterprise Applications.
  3. Select the following resources:
    • IBM SIP Proxy
    • IBM SIP Registrar
    • SSCConnector.ear
  4. Click Uninstall.
  5. In the Uninstall Application window, click OK.
  6. Click the Save link in the "Messages" box at the beginning of the page.
  7. In the navigation tree, click System administration > Nodes.
  8. Select the nodes you are synchronizing, and click Full Resynchronize.
  9. Restart the SIP Edge Proxy Server.
