Setting up the Video Manager server load balancer
Install a load balancer on each Video Manager server, and then deploy an IP sprayer in front of them to distribute HTTP and SIP connections among the load balancers.
Before you begin
- Deploy an IP sprayer that supports both HTTP and SIP connections.
- Install multiple Video Manager servers as explained in Installing the Sametime Media Manager Video Manager.
- Configure Solid® DB replication as explained in Setting up Solid DB replication for multiple Video Manager servers.
- Install a load balancer on each Video Manager server.
- Enable SSL between the IP sprayer and all load balancers for HTTP traffic. Attention: The port on the load balancer is 7443 for HTTPS and 5081 for SIPS.
