SafeLinx Administrator
The SafeLinx Administrator is a Java application that lets administrators configure, monitor, and maintain the resources of one or more SafeLinx Servers.
- Controlling resources and organizational units
  SafeLinx gives you control over all resources and organizational units.
  - Assigning administrative level of authority and access
    The view an admin sees of the SafeLinx Administrator is controlled by the level of access that is assigned to that ID.

    SafeLinx Administrator allows you to apply custom settings to all resources. These customized settings can be reset at any time to restore all resources to their original form.

    SafeLinx Administrator allows you to customize column settings, which you can then share with other administrators. Elect your preferences and extend your customized settings to other users.

    When you apply custom settings to the Resources view, SafeLinx Administrator makes it easy to recover from any errors that you encounter. Fix unwanted actions to return to your preferred settings.

    Resources are objects in a SafeLinx Server system. There are three ways to add resources. The method that is used is determined by the resource's dependence on other resources

    An admin with proper access control can transfer resources to and from organizational units.

    When an admin must add many users or mobile devices, SafeLinx Administrator recommends batch processing to simplify the process.

Refreshing the view of the resources

You can control the refresh rate of the view of the resources.

When many administrators are simultaneously adding and changing resources, the view of the resources on the Resources tab is not updated as quickly as you want. You can control the update rate of this tab by changing the refresh rate.

To change the default automatic refresh setting, click Options > SafeLinx Administrator Properties, select Refresh view of resources, and then enter the desired refresh rate in seconds. The minimum refresh rate is 60 seconds.

To improve SafeLinx Administrator's response time, set the refresh rate higher than the default or clear the check box to prevent the automatic refresh from occurring.

To immediately refresh the view, from the Resources pane, click Refresh .
