The Address Book Provider requires mail add-in version 2.0.1 or later and a new profile. |
- To verify the add-in version, from Microsoft Outlook click .
- If you used an older version of the add-in previously, after version 2.0.1 is installed, you
must create a new profile to use as the default profile. You
need to re-create any custom layouts, favorite folders, and
archive pointers.
You can create the
profile manually or automatically. To create it
automatically, complete step 5c in the procedure Installing and configuring automatically. When you create the profile automatically, the name of
the new profile is the old profile name followed by a number
in parentheses, for example
sdaryn@renovations.com(1). If you
don't want to see the numeric suffix, use the Control Panel
to delete the original profile before the automatic
configuration.

For performance reasons, if a search term is fewer than three characters, the Address Book
Provider returns no results. |
On-premises customers can remove this limitation through Traveler
