Installation steps - LNK REST API is installed

If LNK REST API is installed on your computer, follow these steps to complete the Windows installation.

Locate the HLK Runtime Server on your computer:C:\HCL|Link_<version number>
Open a windows command window with Administrator privileges, then change the current folder to C:\HCL\Link_<version_number>\restapi\tomcat
Uninstall the REST API:
1. If you have installed LNK REST API as a Windows terminal application using dtxtomcat.bat script, run: dtxtomcat.bat uninstall
2. If you have installed LNK REST API as a Windows service application using dtxtomcatservice.bat script run:dtxtomcat.bat uninstall
Follow the installation steps from the previous section.
