The onstat utilityThe onstat utility reads shared-memory structures and provides statistics about the database server at the time that the command runs.

The output for this command is divided into six sections:

Read Ahead
Active Read Ahead Queues
Active Read Ahead Daemons
Recovery ReadAhead Statistics
Partition ReadAhead Statistics
Thread ReadAhead Statistics

Running the command without any arguments will display all six sections by default. To display the information for only one section, add the section name, as in:

onstat -g rah partitions
onstat -g rah threads
