Using the software catalog

The software catalog displays a list of available software for viewing, download, and management.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have configured the Global Configuration document. Otherwise, and if the AutoUpdate task has not been configured for downloads, complete the steps in Configuring the Global Configuration Document.

Using the software catalog

The software catalog is updated periodically and will reflect the options available on the My HCLSoftware Portal. The list is filtered based on the Global Configuration document in the autoupdate.nsf.

When you download software, you will see the following indicators:
  • A yellow star indicates the latest version.

  • A yellow circle indicates download is in progress.

  • A green check mark indicates the download has completed.

  • A red circle indicates there was an error downloading the software.

  • An archive icon indicates that the software you previously downloaded is no longer on the My HCLSoftware Portal. Your downloaded image will not be deleted, but the software is no longer available on the My HCLSoftware portal.
Note: Software that has been downloaded to the software catalog is not deleted automatically. An administrator must delete the downloads manually.

Viewing the latest releases in the Domino directory
