Adding rows and columns in tables

You can add rows and columns in a table.

Procedure

  • To add rows:
    1. Right-click any cell of the row above or below which you want to add a row.
    2. Select Row > Insert Row Above or Insert Row Below.
  • To add columns:
    1. Right-click any cell of the column before or after which you want to add a column.
    2. Select Column > Insert Column Before or Insert Column After.

Note:
  • Inserting or deleting a column changes the size of the other columns.
  • You can quickly add rows or columns after the current row or column by repeatedly clicking the Insert or Delete Row icon The icons to insert or delete rows or the Insert or Delete Column icon The icon to insert or delete columns on the toolbar.
